So, what’s included in the base price?  We get this question a lot.  I think you’ll be surprised to see how much actually comes standard.

CUSTOM CABINETRY

That’s right, we work locally with the talented craftsmen at Auburn Ridge.  Every single home plan has specifically designed cabinets for its shape – i.e. not boxed cabinets.  They are custom made in Marshall, Wisconsin.  Maple stained cabinetry with dovetail joints is standard for a Veridian home.

BRAND NAMES

Yes, brand names come standard.  We work with local and nationwide companies that uphold high reputations.  We work locally with Hallman Lindsay Paints, The Bruce Company, Madison Lighting and BBC Lighting.  We also work with national partners, like Pella, Kohler and Shaw.  Veridian Homes has a rigorous vetting process for its brand partners.  We only use products that we’ve personally tried and tested, ensuring a high quality experience for our customer.

IN-HOUSE ARCHITECT

Veridian Homes has an in-house architect on staff.  This is uncommon in the homebuilding industry.  Many contractors will outsource architectural needs for a client.  Lucky for us, we have our very own Roger.  He’s here to help make sure your home is built exactly how you’d like it.  Learn more about Roger here.

PEACE OF MIND

We do a lot to ensure that you won’t have to worry about your home.  We certify each home for energy efficiency through Focus On Energy.  We install a radon mitigation system to guarantee only fresh air in your new home.  We install controlled lighting, so when you pull up to your front door, the lights will be on.  We do a lot of thinking about what you’ll need behind the walls, so you can focus on what color the walls will be.

CONCRETE & LANDSCAPING

For many builders, adding concrete and landscaping is done through a separate contractor, or it’s added on top of your base price.  In our case, what you see is what you get.  The final price includes your concrete work and landscaping.  Depending on the time of year that you build, these items might need escrowed.  To learn more about escrow, click here.
