So where do you begin? Here’s a few things to think about when choosing your home’s exterior: Exterior colors change and can look different throughout the day depending on how the light hits them. Generally speaking, lighter colors can make your home appear larger, brighter colors can make it stand out, while darker shades can make your home appear smaller and help it blend with the surroundings. Try building your color palette around features of the home that probably won’t change (roofing, stone/brick). Contrasting, but complementary colors can always be added in for dimension or to highlight structural elements.
