Veridian Homes has a longstanding history of giving back to the communities in which we build. We’re incredibly proud of the Veridian Homes Foundation—our non-profit entity that launched back in 2004 and has since contributed well over $2 million to Southern Wisconsin charitable organizations. In 2021, we grew our community support even more with the debut of the Generous Home program, where we built a stand-out home featured in the Madison Parade of Homes and donated all proceeds from its sale to local nonprofits. Now, we are excited to announce the return of this program in 2024, featuring The Collins! A home with a fresh take on classic style, where grandeur meets the everyday. Meet The Collins
With its subtle sophistication, The Collins brings a feeling of grandeur to the everyday. Picture it, you’re immersed in your favorite cookbook, listening to your favorite podcast, all while soaking in your new, favorite tub. After that glorious soak, you decide on the perfect recipe to fine-tune. You walk over to the kitchen and prep your produce in the sink, while taking in the view of your backyard retreat. But that view is too enticing, so you step out onto the deck. The wind picks up a bit, it’s chillier than you thought, and you need a cardigan. Not to worry, there’s a second door that leads you right back to your cozy bedroom suite. And in that moment, you realize The Collins has your back, just like you do for everyone else.

Building the Generous Home
It all began when David Simon, our former President at Veridian Homes, proposed showcasing an existing floor plan that we and our customers all loved. We ultimately landed on The Collins, and David's only feedback was that we consider a way to open the space and provide a sightline from the front door to the great room. From there, our Architecture & Design Team began to brainstorm. The concept quickly snowballed and paved the way for additional options to be considered. The team aimed to incorporate timeless styles with a historically traditional feel, and mold them into our own version by putting a modern take on them. On the stairs you can see the combination of wood and metal detailing. Eventually carpet will be added to complete the look.
We are loving the combination of this tub with the unique emerald green tiling on the wall surrounding it.
