1. Meet your team. When you build with Veridian Homes, you build with a team of experts, and each person is specially trained in their area. From your New Home Specialist and Design Studio Consultants to your Personal Builder and Customer Care Representative, you'll always have a person looking out for you. We'll help you with financing, homesite selection, home plans, design changes, choosing components, even getting settled in your home after closing.

2. Prequalify. How much home can you afford? Fill out our prequalification form online or stop in and talk with us and we can tell you just that. We'll crunch the numbers and have information for you quickly so you can plan with confidence.

3. Sell your home, end your lease. It's an age-old problem: you can't buy a home until you sell your old one. You don't want to sell your old one until you've lined up a new one. With our Guaranteed Sale Program, we'll start by helping you sell your home and if it doesn't sell by the time your new home is built, we'll buy it from you at a fair price. Guaranteed. If you're renting, it's even easier. When you're ready to move in, we'll help assume your rent payments.

4. Choose a neighborhood. For many people, the right neighborhood is as important as the right home. With Veridian Homes, you can choose from homesites in great neighborhoods throughout Madison and Dane County, each one unique.

5. Choose a home plan. Work with one of our New Home Specialists to figure out what's right for you. We offer over 40 homeplans, with options for virtually every taste, style and budget. Our on-staff Architect created these designs and can help personalize them to meet your needs.

6. Financing. Once you've decided on a home plan, we can help determine the dollars you need. Our financing company, Interlink Funding, will assemble a financing package that's just right for you. And unlike many other builders, we don't require construction loans - just a modest amount down with the balance due at closing.

7. Add the finishing touches. Choosing your finishing touches is easy with our award-winning Design Studio. You can select your flooring, faucets, siding, shingles, cabinets, countertops, and everything else you need all under one roof. And our Design Studio Consultants can help you make any or all of your decisions.

8. Start building. It all comes down to quality work and smart planning. Our construction system has both. You’ll have an experienced Personal Builder at the job site, overseeing only highly-qualified trade contractors working on your home. Your Personal Builder will be there throughout to answer questions and keep you posted on the progress of your new home.

9. Closing time. No surprises. Your signing price is your final price unless you change it in writing. We update all paperwork as we go along, so we're both fully aware of all changes, charges, updates and allowances.

10. Moving day. Our award-winning construction system ensures that your home gets built in an organized, timely fashion, without cutting corners. Once you approve plans, specifications and selections, your new home will be ready on time. Guaranteed.

11. Ongoing customer service. We'll be there for you long after the close. In fact, at your closing, our Personal Builders will walk through your home with you, explaining in detail how all the components operate. They'll meet with you prior to closing, 30 days later, and 11 months later, to help you get settled in your home, answer questions and address any warranty work.
